We developed the PCI-PCM16 Controller for data acquisition of bit parallel data streams, as typically sent by PCM systems (e.g. 8K13).

The interface allows evaluation of up to 16 data lines. The data is written to a FIFO at word rate. The frame frequency marks the beginning of a measurement frame.

The interface can optionally be used for generating a PCM data stream. Universal digital in- and outputs are also provided on the card.
