Data Analysis

MGraph: Standard software for data evaluation

MGraph is strong on evaluating large data volumes quickly and intuitively. This includes processing, illustrating, and presenting the data through easily accessible mechanisms. Various data formats (measurement data, videos, images, etc.) can be processed and evaluated.

The central data administration function with data preview allows you to keep track of things, even when dealing with large amounts of data. Evaluation is made convenient by various graphics, interactive zooming, spreadsheets, formula generation, etc. Frequency analysis and classifying processes are optionally available and fully integrated into the program.

In addition to fast print output there is also a graphical presentation designer for creating reports. You can store the layouts you designed as templates for a standarized results presentation.

Options for MGraph

Single-channel frequency analysis Analysis methods: Absolute spectrum, spectral density, power spectral density (PSD), RMS-spectrum, squared RMS-spectrum (RMS²), auto correlation (ACF).
Advanced frequency analysis Analysis methods: Transfer function, coherence function, cross spectral density (CSD), cross correlation function (CCF), coherent output power (COP), cross covariance function, complex FFT / iFFT, impulse response, discrete convolution. NOTE: If both frequency analysis options (MG-O-FFT + MG-O-ZFT) are activated, the waterfall-frequency analysis can be used automatically. There you can calculate several spectra, which are successively displayed on the speed (own dataset).
Single-channel bin analysis (DIN 45667) Analysis methods: Random count, stay time, exact stay time, peak values I/II/III, level crossing, range counting, range pair counting.
Advanced bin analysis Analysis methods: Rainflow, markov, range-mean, overrolling, 2D- overrolling, random-random, level crossing-random. The results are displayed in 3D graphs.
Hysteresis calculation For calculating the area of a closed curve or a complex hysteresis. In addition, the parameters of the energy loss of visco-elastic components are calculated according to DIN 53513, resulting from the hysteresis (parameters: hysteresis area, elliptical area, loss angle, dynamic stiffness, strength-minimum/maximum/average, way-minimum/maximum/mean).
Strain gauge rosettes analysis Analysis of 0°/45°/90°, 0°/60°/120°, and 0°/90° strain gauge rosettes. Calculation results: principal strain, principal normal stress, principal stress difference, maximal shearing stress, maximal equivalent stress via “maximum shear stress criterion”, angle of maximal equivalent stress via “maximum shear stress criterion”, normal stress at maximum angle, shearing stress at maximum angle, equivalent stress.
FIR filtering Module for data filtering using non-recursive FIR filters. Only the filter parameters have to be specified – the filter design is done by the module. The design can be checked during the configuration on a monitor in the dialog. Methods: FIR filter design via the window method or Kaiser window method, custom FIR filters, median/minimum/maximum/average filters, signal phase shift.
Video analysis Simultaneous display of measured data and video data. Automatic and incremental pace-out of measuring data and video data. Depending on the source, manual or automatic synchronization of the measurement data and video data. System requirements: DirectX 9 compatible hardware, installed DirectX 9.
Display of GPS location on a map Simultaneous display of measured data and the GPS location on a map. The maps must be purchased separately. System requirements: Installed Microsoft MapPoint and/or customized maps (e.g. TIF or JPG format).
